We have a scenario where we sell parts to our customers and allow them to pay for them over a period of months. We do not want to negatively impact the customer's AR aging by recording the entire amount due at invoicing. We are looking for a way to invoice the CO but have the associated AR show as individual payments over the life of the agreement period. Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

For those of you that are on-prem on IBM i (iSeries), what are you using to replicate your IBM i database to SQL server for reporting? We have been using DBMoto but it is going out of support. The cost of the replacement products I have been looking at are more than an order of magnitude higher.

We are working to integrated with OneStream to faciliate our consolidated financial file production. We understand that GMS200 is the program to use but have been told that it will only produce files with incremental changes. We want a full trial balance download every time we initiate the file. Any ideas on how others have done this would be greatly appreciated!

We have a situation that arose at our UK facility where specific rack locations need to be blocked for movement of material into that location until some repairs are done. An inquiry with Infor yielded no usable suggestions other than an enhancement request. (which might be a future post!) anyone have any suggestions?

Yesterday the M3UGA Infor U Focus group met with Infor to discuss Infor U and Campus. Infor demonstrated some of the enhancements that they have made to the course catalog, and they are terrific. If you haven't been on Infor U recently, you should really check it out.

We have a situation where we have one user that is printing an MWS450PF label to a printer that is assigned to their user in MNS205. On a regular basis, they need to print to a different label printer but in order to do that, we either need to change users or update the MNS205 record. Has anyone delt with a similar situation and how have you been able to resolve the issue?

I am trying to execute an Infor Support API in API gateway. It is under Available APIs/Customer Experience/InforSupportAPI. Specifically, the Cloud Maintenance Calendar API. It has three required fields. They are X-Infor-StTenantid, X-Infor-Identity2, and X-Infor-Authorization. I am guessing that the Tenant ID is my Concierge Tenant id and the Identity is the email address that I use to log in to Concierge. What I can't figure out is how to get the X-Infor-Authorization value.

On-Prem M3 13.4 Tech Refresh

On-Prem M3 13.4 Tech Refresh

Yesterday I found out that Infor is doing a tech refresh for On-Prem M3 13.4. While the business engine will not change, all of the surrounding technologies, including the grid will be changed. A couple of things that I learned about it:
* Versions prior to 13.4 will not be usable with the tech refresh and must be upgraded
* SmartOffice will no longer be an option to use. You must use H5.
* You must do a new install. There are no in-place upgrades

That information used to be available on the developer portal, but now it is restricted to only Infor employees and Infor partners. Does anyone have any documentation on these or are we forced to reverse engineer them to figure out how they work?

Is anyone having issues with MO updates requiring a Manual Reclass Date causing pallets to not report in MWS068?

Since the April release, we are having problems with pallets reporting on original MOs that have been updated for a variety of reasons (e.g., customer quantity change). Updates are made prior to production. A Manual Reclass Date is required to update the MO.

If we do not immediately go back in PMS100 and change the MO to remove the Man Recl Date prior to production, pallets will not report in the MWS068. If production has started and the date has not been removed, we have to  Read more...do a database change in the Admin Tools environment to remove the date; otherwise, pallets will not report.

This started happening after the April release. We filed a ticket with Infor but do not have a solution yet. Curious if anyone else has experienced this issue, and if yes, have you found a permanent fix?
