I asked one of our team members and they responded: Not sure I have an answer to this one specifically, but normally when connecting to an ION API you are required to have an authentication token (OATH2). These can be downloaded when a connection is identified and an ionapi credential is downloaded. This is access and authorization to the IONAPI gateway in general. Are those identities configured as part of the ion connection or parameters on the api specifically? Read more...If the user has access to ION in the ming.le section, he/she can always locate and execute the API interactively.
Happy to arrange a quick conversation if you think it would be helpful. Thanks - Heather
