I expect that we are not the only company that is spending time figuring out how to handle the new tariffs. I suspect others are looking to pass the tariffs (applied to internationally sourced goods) on to customers. It appears that the tariffs will be specific to product (HTS code) and country of origin. Is an order line charge model the best way to do this? Pricing is another way but could cause a lot of pricing volatility. Any other ideas out there on how to pass these costs on to Read more...customers?
I have created an ER to have country of origin added to the field group that is used to control order line charges when applied via a charge model. Seems like it may be an easy change since MITFAC already has a field in the field group. Looking for other ideas while this change is scheduled on the development road map. Thanks!
