Accounting Number Field in MWOPTR and MWOPTS are not Consistent

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to gather labor absorption detail from our manufacturing orders but the accounting number field in the MWOPTR transaction table is set to 0. This table contains the employee number and we would like to be able to pull the Employee time by Employee number from MWOPTR and tie it to the accounting date in the MWOPTS table. The only way to do that is to use the accounting number as the link.

MWOPTS does populate the accounting number, but MWOPTR  Read more...does not. Did we set something up incorrectly, or is anyone else seeing the same issue?

Could use your input.

I would add that the accounting number field exists for both work orders and manufacturing orders. The system does work for Work Orders but not manufacturing orders. We have submitted the issue to Infor as a bug but they believe it is working as intended. Thus, Rafael is looking to submit an Enhancement Request and is looking for feedback from this group on how best to word the request. Any ideas for resolution of this frustrating problem are greatly appreciated!

Hi Rafael, reviewing this with a few of my team, we feel the logic of that being a connector may be flawed, but without knowing the "full picture" we can't say definitely. We should be able to use connecting tables to create a key, if this is the case. Either way, will need a little more investigation to be able to give you a firm solution.
