Is anyone using the Cloudsuite Self Service Portal for Tennant Data Management?

Categorized as:

We had heard that we can now use the Cloudsuite Self Service Portal (CSSP) for doing data refreshes between Product and Test environments. I started playing around with this, but the feature seems quite limited, as it looks like I can only transfer Division specific data and only do one division at a time, instead of being able to do a global refresh. I reached out to Infor with questions, and honestly I've been unable to talk with anyone there that knows what I am talking about yet.

I agree with Scott: INFOR mentions this feature (Refresh your data from the production environment) but when you try to activate this service, it's hard to know who to contact and how.

However, it's a service that the customer pays for, so he's entitled to take advantage of it.

Thank you for clarifying this, as this service now seems less attractive, as customers generally only have 3 tenants - DEV, TST or TRN - PRD but no Pre-Production?

Hi Scott,

The upcoming data refresh via CSSP capability is limited to refreshing from Production tenant to Pre-Production tenant. And it will be made available to customers with Pre-Production tenant only.

It is not intended for refreshing from PRD to TST and/or TRN.

Thanks

Justin

Hi Amy! Thank you for this... I didn't realize that the 'Import from Database' had been added to configuration management. When I had heard about the ability to import between tennats I thoughts that it was referring to the CSSP - Perhaps I was mistaken. I will look closer into your document
