Has anyone used Alternate Structures (PDS023)?

We're looking to produce the same Finished SKU with 2 different Bills of Materials depending on which machine they are produced on. Wondering if anyone has successfully used Alternate Structures and what was the experience like.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. We will check out alternate routing.

Hi Tony, your requirements seems to be better satisfied with the functionality of alternate routing. The same product structure has multiple operations with is conditioned by al alternative routing code. When a MOP is created by MRP, you have opportunity in PMS170 to assign a different routing code (selecting different operations (machines). Or you use quantity based setup to allow M3 to select automatically a routing code.
