In need of a PDS051 API

Hello everyone! We are in need of a PDS051 API in the near future to add (likely thousands) of lines to PDS051 in Infor M3 Cloud. There is not currently an existing API for this and so we are wondering if anyone Third Party or Fellow Infor customer, have developed a solution using XtendM3 or something else for this? Let me know! Thank you!

Scott - I see the "Enhancements" option on the left hand menu as the 11th option down directly below Products & Subscriptions. If you're not seeing that option it may be the user settings on your Concierge profile. The Contact Admin for your organizations Concierge access can turn this on/off for users. If this is already set to on then I would suggest a case be opened with Infor Support - Customer Care / Concierge.

Additionally, you can search ER numbers via  Read more...the "Search" option in top left corner of Concierge. I did a quick lookup on this ER and noted it was potentially set for the Oct. 2024 release. I have reached out to the overseeing product manager to learn more and will return here as soon as I do. Qiang/Patrick - How difficult do you think it would be to create the connections using BE Interactive Program Services for a PDS051 API? I found an example of someone using it in the following link which makes it seem complex, but also good to know that coding is not required. Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I will surely look into these more... Jeremy, regarding the ER, I should have mentioned, but apparently there is already an ER request 'On the roadmap' under ER 78485, however no scheduled date. I was going to provide a link to this however, for some reason the 'Enhancements' button the left in Concierge appears to be missing? This is a first - I guess they moved it? I was trying to find where to look at the ER's now and was unable to find it in  Read more...Concierge or the Customer Portal Show less...

Hello Scott,

There is a tool in the M3 Business Engine which allows you to create custom APIs for M3 programs. As an example, I have used this tool to create an Update API for MNS110 as one does not exist "out of the box".

Hello Scott - I'll let the community speak on immediate short term solutions, but would highly recommend and suggest you enter an Enhancement Request with Infor for this API. Once you've completed the ER please post it here and in the MUGA Enhancements section to help solicit interest/votes. Finally, once the ER is created and posted here you can speak with your assigned Customer Experience rep to start the conversations at Infor internally.

Hi Scott, PDS051 has the A panel available. It should be possible to create a web service with IPS (BE Interactive Program services) that allows you to create entries in PDS051 like an API.
