What does everyone have HEAP set to on their EC servers?

We are still at the default 512 for EC,ION and IONAPI. we increased IDM to 4096 recently due to some check printing issues. we had assumed there was something wrong with the process. But it turned out to be HEAP related. what is everyone elses experience?

Are you on-prem or cloud? Our on-prem EC we have 3 servers. They all have 12GB heap. We run a lot through EC.
