[Special Announcement] M3 CloudSuite and On Premise integration with Cashbook

Cashbook write-back postings integrate with both M3 CloudSuite and M3 on premise.

Journals are created and worked with through the Cashbook application to apply cash. These journals may be automatically created through bank file uploads or manually created.

Using scheduled jobs, M3 provides Customer, Invoice and FX data that is in a format loadable into the Cashbook application  Read more...in advance of any cash allocations.

Cash is applied in the Cashbook application and then, when ready, a post action is taken. This post action can be taken on the full journal when work has been completed or on individual transactions within it.

For M3 CloudSuite, the post action generates our generic JSON file that is then converted to a format that can be uploaded into M3 CloudSuite through the ION interface. The upload takes the Cashbook file and creates a statement under ABS100 in M3. The rules configured under M3 take the ABS100 statement data and apply cash to invoices (fully or partially as applicable) or create on account or deduction records where no invoice document exists. The GL accounts are also updated during this posting process.

For the M3 on premise application, the post action in Cashbook creates records in the M3 table FCR040. From there the program GLS037 is used to process and update M3 Accounts Receivable and General Ledger Files (FSLEDG and FGLEDX). Show less...
