This session will explore the functionalities of Attributes, Phantom Items in combination with MRP. When different demand orders for the same product come with varying configurations—such as color, size, or other attributes—each configuration will generate distinct acquisition orders based on the required attributes. We will demonstrate how to use Attribute Functionality in combination with Phantom Items to create different Bills of Materials (BOMs) and, consequently, different components for the same product across various manufacturing orders and finally ensuring the produced Balance ID with required attribute gets allocated to its corresponding demand order.
