Have you found a way to re-explode manufacturing order materials to bring it to the structure revision that matches its start date? The mismatch would com from either re-scheduling the MO or changing the to/from dates on a product structure.
Having given this a few weeks without a response, it seems to me that the people in this group don't have ideas on a good solution? Here is what I've been able to find, in case it gives any of you ideas.
The possibilities I can find are: 1) Delete the MO and re-create (which isn't desirable for us most of the time because we have references to distribution orders and customer orders, and it isn't possible if the MO has been started already.) 2) Modify the MO materials -- using the PMS100MI.DltMOComponent and PMS100MI.AddMOComponent APIs. This can be a lot of work and a bit difficult to manage, and, therefore error-prone, but it seems to be the best option we have. Show less...
