Anyone implement Infor Velocity Suite?

Categorized as:

We were unable to make it out to the Infor Velocity conference this week, but our Infor Reps did give us a rundown! It seems like a great solution for a couple things... Especially for AP Capture. Wondering if anyone here has any experience using it yet, or if its too new? Would love to know if it's as good out of the box as they say.

This is a new add-on for Infor OS Cloud

Thank you!

@patriciareeves you can check with Bala Anantharama (@balachandrananantharama) with ICCG. I believe that they are authorized for Velocity Suite. His email is bala at iccg.com

Thanks Patricia, this is good to know. How long ago did you 'start'? I'll have to check in with you in a few weeks to see if things have progressed

I'll note that the direct integration that Velocity would have as an infor product, especially with IDM is enticing. We were also a bit taken about by the cost, but they told us up front that it was the *list price* - we are working on putting together an ROI to see if we can justify the cost vs savings. The AP capture alone would be big for us if it really can be as hands off as it seems.

Jim, I would be very interested in hearing what you have to say about using Power Automate for RPA - We already use Power Automate/Power BI/Logic App for other areas in our company. Is it difficult to integrate with M3?

We are trying to get it implemented but currently only Infor can implement it and they are moving at a snails pace and so far only having 'pre' meetings.

We considered the Velocity suite but it proved too costly us. We are using Microsoft Power Automate for RPA and also going to look at Vince. For AP Capture we have looked at both Medius and Docubits, but can't generate traction with Finance,
