looking for info on GS1-compliant multi-level packaging setup

We are looking to move from Each-level ordering only to allowing inner pack, outer pack, case, pallet, etc. But we haven't been able to find any information on how best to set that up in M3.
Is there some documentation available that we've missed, or can someone explain the standard way to set things up for that in M3?

GS1 allows you to define relationships between packaging levels:
Base unit: GTIN for the single item.
Intermediate pack: GTIN for a smaller bundle (e.g., 4-pack).
Case pack: GTIN for the full case (e.g., 36-pack).

Ran into this issue in a previous company and had same challenges. We ended up creating a unique item number for each configuration 1in ea, 4in inner pack, 36in master pack.
