This training explores one of the most used screens in M3 (MMS002), while focusing on one of the most frequent implementation failures: MRP calculation.
When setting up M3, most companies go with a one-fits-all configuration, with very few nuances and almost never a frequent review of the parameters.
We will explain the main concepts of supply replenishment, and through examples, show how you can set up various inventory strategies depending on your items.
When is MRP not enough? If you are experiencing inventory build-up, manufacturing and logistics constraints, dynamic multi-sourcing, and we will take a look at how this may lead you into other Infor supply chain management tools.

The objective of a warehouse management system (WMS) is to provide a set of computerized procedures to handle the receipt of stock into a production facility, manage the stock within the facility and enable a seamless link to production, customer order processing and logistics management in order to pick, transfer and issue materials. 
But Warehouse Management goes beyond the physical boundaries of the warehouse. Shop floor data collection, inventory planning, cost management, should all be incorporated into WMS. Even production management is to a great extent dependent on WMS and an efficient WMS gives a cutting edge to any organization.
